What you can become

Recognize these 2?

That's me and Sifu Steph, 2 and 4 years old respectively.

Having kids and looking at old pictures of yourself makes you think of where you were and how far you've come.

Recognizing past successes and acknowledging your humble beginnings is important to fuel your desire for constant improvement here now in the present.

Students often forget to stop and think about that.

When you're training you only see what's in front of you as far as techniques, fitness and principles you need to master. The next level always seems to be more challenging than the other.

You find yourself aggravated that you can't do your 120th push-up in 2 minutes when in reality if you stopped and reflected on your first class when doing 10 was challenging you wouldn't be so hard on yourself.

"Know where you're going but know where you've been" is an important piece of advice for longevity in any undertaking and it's especially true in martial art training.

One thing for sure, the practice of martial arts is GOOD for you.

And we encourage you to get started if you haven't already done so.

P.S. Your potential is unlimited. Your success today is dictated by the choices you've made when you failed and the resilience and confidence you create when you succeed.
