What's Next?

Has to be one of the most important questions to ask yourself in any area of your life.

Following the concept of "Constant and Never Ending Improvement" will guarantee you keep on being creative and staying motivated.

In your training you should always set standards but not be limited by them.

Start small and expand from there. Avoid making the mistake of seeing how many potatoes you'll eat in one year. If you do you'll never want to eat a single potatoe again in your life.

It starts by setting measurable goals according to where you are right now.

If I tell a student they need to do 80 push-ups, 80 sit-ups in 2 minutes and run 1.66 Km in under 7 1/2 minutes when they first start, that might be what seems insurmountable right now.

Instead we slowly build up that number. Starting at 10 push-ups for White level. Then 20 for Yellow, etc...

But once you get to 80 you have to ask yourself: "What's next?"

Take some time to write stats about yourself:

Start by body measurements. Then make a check list of the following:

Max Push-Ups in 2 minutes
Max Sit-Ups in 2 minutes
Max Speed Mile Run (1.66 Km)
Max Over Head Press (Sand Bags or KBs)
Flexibility Level (beyond or below toes)
Max Squats in 2 minutes
Max 100 m sprint

And so on. Then do x 10% percent each exercise and continue pushing the limit.

There is no limit to what you can accomplish physically when you jot down stats.

If you need help we're offering our personal stat system for free when you order a copy of our FSD Training guide this month.

Aim Higher,

Sifu Martin
